Under Israeli law (The Penal Act of 1977) a woman who wants to terminate her pregnancy must appear before the Committee For Termination of Pregnancy made up of a social worker and two doctors. Abortion is allowed only in the following courses:
- If the woman is below marriage (in other words a minor) or above 40 years of age if the pregnancy is the result of relations prohibited by criminal law.
- If the pregnancy is the result of incestuous relations or an extramarital affair.
- If the child is liable to have physical or mental defects.
- If contunuining the pregnancy is likely to endanger the woman's life or cause her mental or physical harm.
Of course, Israel is very concerned with increasing the Jewish birth rate so they take a dim view of abortion on demand as a form of birth control. The Committee approves 98% of abortions that meet the criteria. There are 20,000 legal abortions in Israel and 20,000 illegal abortions per year. That seems somewhat excessive considering that Israel has slightly over 9 million people. However, abortions have declined since 1998. For instance, in 2016 the abortion rate was 9 people per 1000 people whereas the abortion rate in the United States was 13.2 per 1000 people. 99% of abortions in Israel were carried out in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Women who do not qualify for abortions often get abortions in private clinics although abortions in private clinics are against the law. Women who have private abortions do not face criminal prosecution but Physicians who perform them face fines or up to five years in prison.
So why go through all these abortions stats as regards Israel? We do it because the White People's Republic must adopt pro-natal policies in order to raise the birthrate to at least 4 children per family! Likewise we must also have a Committee for Termination. Abortions of healthy White infants cannot be allowed in the WPR nor should abortion be used as a form of birth control. Likewise we cannot go to the other extreme and ban all abortions even those involving rape, incest, or physical or mental deformities. In that regard all praise to Israel for coming up with a simple and rational plan on who can and who cannot get an abortion!
